Holy/Blessed Thistle – Cnicus benedictus

A very bitter, antiseptic antibiotic herb that acts mainly as a digestive tonic. Mild expectorant and diuretic.

May also be used for:

poor/loss of appetite,
indigestion,
dyspepsia,
flatulent colic,
diarrhoea,
bacterial infections

Warning: Not to be taken by woman during pregnancy. May slow blood clotting. Avoid if suffering from conditions that can get worse due to estrogen.
