Lungwort is a soothing astringent expectorant herb.

Lungwort is commonly used for :

coughs
bronchitis and asthma
haemorrhoids
and diarrhoea

Lungwort can also help with kidney and urinary tract problems. Lungwort is also used in cough medicines, to relieve fluid retention, and to treat lung diseases such as tuberculosis.

Lungwort is also much efficient to remove tar (due to Smoking) from the lungs.
