    Buchu can be used to disinfect the urinary tract during infections of the

    • bladder (cystitis)
    • uretra (urethritis)
    • prostate (prostatitis)
    • and kidneys (pyelonephritis

    Buchu can also be used for digestive problems, gout, rheumatism, coughs and colds

    Externally it can be used for bruises or sprains

    Warning : Buchu should not be used while pregnant or if suffering from Bleeding disorders since it may slow the clotting of blood.
